The Rio Nido Lodge

Tucked back in the quirky little river town of Rio Nido is The Rio Nido lodge. A long time 100 year old legend, and staple to the community of the Russian River, stands the unique English Tudor style lodge boasting both rooms and cabins, an above average restaurant & bar with an adorable mercantile stocked with mom & pop treasures, picnic goods & unique gifts all situated on a couple of beautiful acres with towering redwoods.

Built on the bones of an old bordello and one of the oldest watering holes in this old Western Sonoma County logging town;  you’ll find the lodge to have retained its familiar “come as you are “ charm.

As you saddle up to the bar, you’ll be transported back to an era of yesteryear with old smoker chesterfield lounge sofas, chandeliers, floor to ceiling stone and real wood fireplace, original redwood bar milled off of the property in the early 1900’s and the very coveted vintage glass collection.

Stop in and grab a cold PBR after work, a pool game or stay for dinner with craft cocktails & a show. The lodge features talented musicians most nights of the week and a fun filled locals night with karaoke and $5 drink specials on Wednesdays!

On the menu, you’ll find reasonably priced entrees, craft cocktails, an excellent beer & wine selection, the best charcuterie boards in Northern California, mouthwatering steak & bearnaise sauce with local veggies and an heirloom tomato bruschetta with buratta that will rock your taste buds.
