Cazadero Winery

102 years of Cazadero wine grape roots! Frank Egger's grandfather Eugene Egger planted the family vineyard in Cazadero off of Fort Ross Road on Blue Jay, out past Fine's Mill in 1922. Frank retired from his day job in 2005 and started Cazadero Winery from scratch & today purchases premium grapes from local West County growers.

Cazadero is one of the most awarded micro-wineries in Sonoma County celebrating their 17th year of producing their all natural wines in Healdsburg. You can find Cazadero wines at Sophie's Cellars, Fort Ross Store, Rivers End, Cazadero General Store, Highland Del, Andy's Produce, Penngrove Market, La Dolce Vita, Wilibee's-Santa Rosa, Big John's Market, Bottle Barn and Total Wine.

Woman are at the helm too: Ronita & Lori with winemaker Ashley Herzberg since 2017. Although Caz does not have a tasting room, Sophie's Cellars in Duncans Mills offers free wine tastes of Cazadero's Double Gold Medal wines. Stop by, say hello to Sophie's owner Alice Hunter & tell her Ronita sent you.
