Queen of Boogie Woogie WENDY DEWITT & Kurt Harwood

Music enthusiasts from San Francisco to Paris all agree that Wendy is the personification of The Queen of Boogie Woogie, a title she richly deserves.

Her musical style has been formed from the influences of Otis Spann, Memphis Slim, Sunnyland Slim and Albert Ammons- the most respected names in Boogie Woogie and blues.

Her music evolved further from sharing the stage with the greatest of contemporary artists such as Steve Freund, Otis Rush, and the late, great Hank Ballard, whose love of the blues defined his unique rock classics.

Wendy has also been featured in performances with blues greats Charlie Musselwhite, Otis Rush and Jimmy Thackery, and has claimed her rightful place next to these seminal blues artists.
