We all know and love Mags and she is now the chamber president! Welcome Mags Van Der Veen!
Mags grew up in the southern Netherlands near Germany, moved to Canada when she was in her teens and then most recently she began her Russian River journey 10 years ago in 2013. She is passionate about Guerneville’s unique and vibrant community and her favorite color is anything with sequins! Something that she is passionate about locally is the environmental health and resilience of the Russian River.
When you don’t see her adventuring around the town you can find her with her husband and four dogs. Next time you see her out and about, give her a shout!

The 14th Annual Steelhead festival is THIS Saturday, February 11 10:00am-4:00 pm. This is a free family fun event offering fun entertainment and activities for everyone. Get up and personal with the California threatened Steelhead Trout as they push upstream and climb the fish ladder.
