Russian River Hoop and Flow (RRHF)

Russian River Hoop & Flow (RRHF) is a pop-up hula hooping experience that brings free-flowing fun to the community! We show up with hoops, music, and good vibes—creating joyful, welcoming spaces where everyone can play, connect, and move together. In addition to spontaneous pop-up events, RRHF has been hired to teach hoop classes, perform at festivals and private events, and add a playful, flowing ambiance wherever it's needed. Whether you're joining us for a spin or just soaking in the energy, RRHF is all about building community through joy, movement, and flow. 

Origin Story-Russian River Hoop & Flow was founded in 2020 by Jim Hendrickson as a safe way to connect with community during the pandemic. A party of 1 for almost a year, Jim started RRHF by showing up to the Guerneville plaza with hula hoops and speakers, consistently there rain or shine. Slowly but surely the group has grown to include a crew of regulars, people from all walks of life including artists, teachers, business owners, and local families excited to show up to the weekly gatherings. Since its inception, Russian River Hoop & Flow has been hired to perform at various events, teach at schools, and show up as ambient entertainers, inviting engagement, fun and connection. 

RRHF holds sessions regularly in the Guerneville Plaza, and has also been showing up at other Santa Rosa markets and North Bay events. This summer, RRHF is a proud recipient of a grant from Creative Sonoma, which helps support more accessible offerings and movement sessions.
