Reading Nature for Kids and Parents

Every child has special tools for reading and exploring nature. Join California Naturalist and author Stephen Nett in the redwoods to discover fun ways to use our onboard abilities and senses to uncover nature’s secrets and stories. We’ll explore forest life and features in the fresh air. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
Highly recommended is the Young Explorers Nature Journal – Observing Activities for Exploring Nature Outdoors. This workbook can be directly purchased from the teacher at a discounted price of only $10 at the event. All children will receive a Certificate of Completion from Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods!
