50-60’s Rock & Roll WILLIE PEREZ

COMMUNITY NIGHT WELCOMES Willie Perez, he has been performing for audiences since the mid-sixties for a variety of venues ranging from high school and college dances, dance hall gigs with rock bands, big bands, blues clubs, country and western bars, county fairs, and dinner-dance clubs.

One of his favorite engagements was playing back-up for blues and jazz singer, Margie Baker, at the Monterey Jazz Festival. Most of his playing has been in the San Francisco Bay Area, and Humboldt and Mendocino counties.

Willie finally settled down in the Russian River area and has performing solo or with other musicians in a number of local venues, including Main Street Bistro, playing a mixture of blues, folk, and pop.  Willie has been playing in local cabarets for years and has a devoted following as a solo guitar/vocal blues act.
