The Russian River Rodeo Association is proud of their western heritage and history of producing rodeos for over 50 years along the beautiful Russian River. They have a dedicated group of volunteers that work hard to preserve the rodeo and small town way of life. They offer a friendly, family oriented atmosphere to all visitors during their annual rodeo event – typically the 4th weekend in June.
During the past 50 years, the annual rodeo had moved several times to different locations along the Russian River valley, before finding its permanent home at “Bill Parmeter Field” due the generosity of the Parmeter family. The Russian River Rodeo Association leases the property from the Parmeter family for the annual rodeo and for other roping and riding events throughout the year, and thank them for their continued dedication and support of the sport of rodeo.
