Wild Mushroom Foraging and Cooking

Sunday, March 11, 2007
with Charmoon Richardson
9:00 am to 4:00 pm - $85 per person
Limited to 20 participants

Update – Last year at this time there was no shortage of rain! This year however, Mother Nature is holding off providing us with enough rain to cultivate delectable mushroom treats for our forage. For this reason we are rescheduling our wonderful event for March 11th so if you were hoping to join us, you still can.

Meet at the Village Inn in Monte Rio and carpool as a group to Salt Point State Park on the wild Sonoma Coast (an hour away) for a wonderful wild culinary mushroom forage. Lunch is included, after which participants will return to the quaint Village Inn, overlooking the Russian River, for a wild mushroom cooking demonstration and tasting class with wine reception.

Charmoon Richardson has been studying & collecting wild mushrooms in Northern California for over 25 years. As a culinary enthusiast, Charmoon works with both restaurants & wineries in Northern California, creating unique mushroom themed events.
